Correction!!!! Coming from a parent from NCE, NCE has bought CX. We now have 2 locations. Annoucements where made to each teams yesterday, but no details have been explained.

The I heard this and that are invalid! This project has been very very tight lipped. Again, NO DETAILS HAVE BEEN RELEASED TO MEMBERS OR PARENTS REGARDING THIS EVENT!

NCE did not buy Cheer Xplosion. They are combining. No details have been released nor confirmed, other than the joining. So anything else that you hear at the moment is not true.

I'm sorry but we were told that NCE took over CX last night at Athletic Championships. CX will be Nor Cal Elite! CX will be wearing Nor Cal uniforms. How is that a merger if both gyms will be wearing the Nor Cal uniform? The parties that own both gyms will remain in each location, but both gyms are NOR CAL ELITE!

I would suggest that all CX and NCE parents and members call their gyms if they have any questions. Discussing this on this forum will only cause confusion.

All we know right now is that CX and Nor Cal are now together as ONE with whatever name, uniform, etc they decide to do.

Obviously this just happened and there will be an adjustment period but I think it will be a good thing once all the bugs are worked out. Congrats to both gyms and their athletes.

I'm curious to hear the complete story if this is a real merger, or a partnership of sorts. Will CX still be run by the same owners, and coaches? Checked and there is nothing posted on either gyms websites. Like I said just curious.

From what we've been told by the current gym owners, the two gyms will still be owned by their respective owners.

Owned or run. Two different sitations. Roy and his SJ staff will be working with the CX gym multiple days a week all season long and will be handling all choregraphy for that location. The CX staff will become Norcal Elite staff. All members in both locations will be wearing the same NorCal uniform. CX will become Norcal this season.

This is what has been released and what the beginning plan is for next season. Yes, there will be an adjustment period but everyone is so excited to join forces this next season and grow as an NCE family.

How do you know this when nothing official has been released? None of this should be considered fact until something official has been said.

How do you know this when nothing official has been released? None of this should be considered fact until something official has been said. Yes, owned and run are two different situations. It has been release to Norcal members and this is what was told to me from 'the sources' as a Norcal parent. So, I take it as fact and just wanted to share. I don't really care who 'owns' it just what will happen in the gym. However, you are correct, I will no longer share my facts and will let it get annouced officially

I agree, I do not think anyone is lieing at all. They just do not know all the info yet just like myself.

I do wonder if nor cal will change their tryout dates considering the merge. I think that both gyms should consider doing tryouts at the same time, it will be easier.
