If it is true goodluck to him. He has been a wonderful influence on our sport up in Nor Cal and any gym would be lucky to have him. If its not true, oh well that is what a rumor is.

I have also heard this rumor for months now and was not sure if Nelson agreed to go. I heard just recently though, Nelson did agree to the offer and is moving down south.......we will miss you Nelson! But the program he is going to is off the hook.....way to go Nelson!

I think they are trying to be somewhat respectful of his privacy which I think its funny that they would start this thread if that was the case.

What I find interesting about his bio is that it does not list what his capacity is at OC. Coach? Choreographer? Tumbling instructor? Toe nail biter?
It just makes me wonder if it is there because of when he went down to "guest coach" a while back. I didn't see any announcement: "OC welcomes to our staff Nelson DeDios."

All I am saying is that I personally am not putting any stock into this rumor until either Nelson, OC or cheergyms makes an official statement.
