As parents we will (sometimes reluctantly) pay whatever the admission is to watch our daughter perform. But for her friends and other family members, asking up to $15 per person for 2-1/2 minutes keeps them home. Especially when they aren't all that interested in the rest of the competition. It just gets to be way too much, especially when you add siblings into the mix.
doesnt it usually come out to be about the same? i guess higher competition fees instead of admission fees because then parents can just walk in and not have to worry about waiting in line for a stamp or wrist band.
I hate the entrance fee its like 15 $ per Person and if you want to bring friends or Family along it adds up some companys charge to much for entrance fee like jamz nationals I heard there entrance fee is 30 dollars per person that adds up if u have siblings and other family members prices our outrageous !
yeah i would rather just pay higher competition fees because it just seems less noticeable that way and its much easier to just walk into a competition without dealing with paying then and getting wristbands and everything. and more people are likely to show up if they don't have to pay at the door because if there was a fee, they would think twice about it.

jamz nationals is like $30 each day! its outrageous!
I rather pay higher reg fees and get in free, however....if the comps rates go up to much it might hurt gyms. This spring will be the true test as to how many gyms stay around. All Stars is a luxury and some will find that they just can not afford to do it any more.
I vote for paying higher registration fees. We have a big family and it would be nice if more could attend, but I can't ask them to pay $15 at the door and I can't afford to pay it for them. Plus no standing in line or wristbands to deal with, as someone else said.
Higher registration fees. I have a family of of 5 girls plus my wife. Only one cheers. There are times I would love to have them attend the comps with us but the admission fees make it unreasonable. Especially because for them it is hard to sit through an all day comp.
Definitely higher registration fees. I invite my family to watch, but I'll tell them how much it is to get in plus they have to pay for parking. It is nice not having to pay for admission because the food, gas, hotel, sweatshirts, Jammy, etc., etc., just adds up.
