I think an experiment is in order. We should have two panels, real judges and then a parent panel. That would be interesting.

I think it would be a hoot. "So You Want To Be A Cheer Judge"...reality competition. A gym would could work into a show off or something at their gym. I'm of the 'oh, that's purdy' school of judging myself.

Almost as bad as parent ref's LOL Has anyone ever gone to youth soccer events, ummm parent rumbles and they always look at the wrong things.

It would be funny to have an experiment with that, but I wouldn't bring my teams there.

I think what kills me even MORE is listening to a parent complain about cheer when they don't even have a cheerleader. This was overheard by ME at a football game coming from a football parent on how the cheerleaders "don't know what they are doing." Our girls don't perform what they can do at the games strictly because of possible injuries and a coach who cares. Boy would this parent have eaten their words if they HAD seen...
