Speaking of Vegas, for those of you going to Jamz Nationals end of March Southwest is taking reservations into May now. But they are pricey! I guess because of the cost of gas?? We may drive this year!

Yep, we're going to drive this year - partially because we spent a boatload on taxis! The strip SEEMS fairly close to the Arena, so why does it cost $20 one way? Also, by the time we drive up to the Airport (gotta get there at least an hour early, of course), park and tram to the terminal, check in, board the plane, wait our turn to the runway, fly there, unboard (deboard?), wait for luggage, get in that HUGE long taxi line, and drive to the hotel, we could have been almost there by car! LOL! Not much of a time saver . . .
Agree. Although you can take the shuttle from the arena into the strip for free, if you don't mind waiting (I think the most we had to wait was 20 minutes)?
