CX has a level 4 team, but they have a couple crossovers I think? USA has weird rules about crossovers, I think you can only do it if you're at the same level. So they had a choice of going level 3 or staying level 4 and doing exhibition only. This is what I've heard, I don't know for sure.

This is just a question not meant in a negative way, but Is that fair to Majestic and Cheer With a Twist who have level 3 teams to be competing against a true level 4 team?

Your assuming those teams aren't doing the same thing. Just because they're in lvl 3 does not mean they're truly a lvl 3.
Our Youth Level 2 team is competing Level 3 because we have girls on both Youth and Juniors and one on our Senior Level 4 team. The schedule is incorrect. Our Senior Level 4 team will be doing an Evaluation only.
Hope this helps, and we look forward to seeing everybody on Sunday.. Coach Kathy Cheer Xplosion

Well since both teams mentioned are competing level 3 this season I consider them a level 3 teams. I thought CX had a level 4 team and for them to drop down a level for one competition seemed odd so I asked. My question was an honest one and was answered. Don't make drama where none was intended. Thank you.
Its too bad its such a small comp. Why didn't Club Spirit's Level 5 team compete at Jamfest last weekend? I didn't even know they had one until I saw the line up for this comp.
Same argument applies as in a previous post. If a team is competing in a different level they are still doing that level skills. Good luck CX this weekend, looking forward to seeing you compete!

yah cx is staying sr 4 exhibition due to crossovers. youth is moving up due to cross overs on jr team so youth 3 and jr 3 ... and sr 2 is stayin as sr2
Hardly seems worth it to make all these changes just because USA doesn't allow crossovers. Seems like it would be easier to just not go to their comps. They seem to cater more to youth and high school teams. I actually like the no crossovers rule, except that if they are the only competition not allowing them, like someone else said in a post a while back, they are shooting themselves in the foot. It's too bad because they used to be a popular competition to attend years ago. Do you think they could ever be again? Not to take away from the gyms who are attending, just commenting on the low turnout. Good luck to all of you, and more importantly, have fun!!!!
