Cross Overs Level 5

Does it appear that all the Level 5 teams eligible for Worlds Bids don't have any crossovers this year? I know last year Power and Cheerforce received multiple Worlds Bids and had to change team members because they had crossovers. I'm assuming those gyms don't have crossovers this year. What about some of the other Level 5 teams? Are any going to potentially be put in the same situation?

NCE has a ton of cross overs.  All the girls from sm senior 5 cross over to coed 5. It also seemed as every girl crossed over to at least 2 or 3 teams.

I hope the coaches have discussed this with the kids and parents. If all three Level 5 teams get bids to Worlds only one of the teams will be able to attend.

Hopefully they've already made the decision about what team would attend. There is nothing more disappointing than working hard all season and then finding out you can't take advantage of your hard work and show it off at Worlds. I think this has been one of the hardest rule changes at Worlds. That and the age limits. Both make it harder for smaller gyms.

Good luck to all the California level 5 teams out there. Lets continue to show the World what we can bring.

NCE did seem to have alot of crossovers.  But they only have the two teams not three that are level 5.  I think Roy would just choose which team would do better in that case.

NCE has three Level 5 teams: Jr Coed, Small Sr, and Sr Coed.

I have to say I am disappointed that Power is crossing over again. That means if both teams get bids then there will be last minute substitutions. And to me that means one of those teams routines may suffer at Worlds like they did last year. Oh well.

POWER does not have tons of crossovers. Less than ten ( not sure of the exact count). I would not say our teams suffered last year. We were so excited and proud to have two teams place top 10 at Worlds.

It seemed most if not all of Motions junior kids also crossed over to their senior team.

Power seems to have less crossovers than previous years. Not many crossovers on the level 5 teams anymore and no crossovers from level 4 to the 5 teams! Sat next to a Power parent yesterday, got in the scoop!

okay so maybe i exaggerated a little bit! giggle.gif lol but the point i was trying to make, as worlds watcher has said, is that POWER might suffer at worlds because of crossovers.  they will forsure need 2 fill 10 spots weeks before worlds and thats not always easy.  dont kill me, im just havin funnn! lol wink

My crossover question was really focusing on Level 5 teams within the same gym that might both get Worlds bids. Motions Junior team is Level 3 and Senior team is Level 4. So there are no issues for Worlds. And of course, that is all I'm obsessed with as my name implies... Worlds.
