This is a small turnout but should be fun! Congrats to UCF, I didn't realize they grew so much! Is the Youth 2 team last years "minnies" if so, can't wait to see what their routine looks like this year

CSE MOM,
Wish you were going to see them at the POWER comp too.  Yu will see them at the showcase on Sunday though.  If I do say, they are looking good.  Their routine is surely not done yet but for the first two competitions it will be great!

I wish Power were performing.  Other than that, I think it's a nice way to start off the season.   There are quality teams attending (it's that quality vs. quantity thing).  I'm interested to see Oakridge..

I think POWER has this all figured out.  They host a competition with all their competitors, evaluate the competition, and then go back to the gym and make the necessary adjustments before they officially meet these teams at a future competition.

I think it's more of a fundraiser for the gym. To help pay for worlds, costs, etc.

THOSE COMMENTS ARE SILLY IF THEY WANTED TO EVALUATE THEIR COMPETITION THEY COULD SAVE THEM SELVES A LOT OFTIME AND JUST GO AND SIT AND VIDEO TAPE THEM AT A COMP.  HE IS JUST A BUSINESS MAN DOING BUSINESS

WHY EVEN START SOMETHING SO RUDE AND NASTY BESIDES THEY KICK ALL OF OUR BUTTS AND TAKE NAMES EVERY SEASON
DONT BE HATERS THEY HAVE NO REASON TO CHEAT

I WANT OUR SQUAD TO BEAT POWER OH REAL BAD WHO DOESNT WANT TO BUT IT IS NOT NICE TO SAY THOSE TYPE OF THINGS AND START RUMORS AND HONESTLY DONT WE ALL GO BACK AFTER WE COMPETE AND CHANGE THINGS...... THAT WOULD MAKE US ALL CHEATERS

THINK ABOURT IT

Seriously people! That is absurd to comment that stuff!

But just to clairify, I don't think anybody was "ASSUMING" they were cheating. I think that was just supposed to be a funny haha comment. Or at least I hope, I tend to take the positive side of comments!

That's hularious!  I never thought those comments were referring to cheating.  I, too, thought the comment was on the fun side.

I took a look at the POWER site this morning.  It looks like POWER is hosting a two phased competition.  It looks like they are hosting a Pop Warner type league competition in the morning.  Then an all star competition in the afternoon.

If you are going to have to secure a facility, bring in your cheer floor and mats, hire judges, security, food vendors, and ticket takers, POWER might as well add the all-stars to fill the day.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Meaning a fundraiser for their gym. Every gym has fundraisers right? This is one for them, to go towards what ever cost maybe. Isn't Spirit Spectacular a fundraiser for cheergyms.com?
