December 8-9, 2007 I have not heard of anyone else who is going to this comp. This is the first year for this event so I wonder what the turnout will be. Anyone going?
Wow! So many hits and no response yet!!! I think everyone is being a little top secret about where thier going this year!!! Where are the people? Please don't make us stake out the competition venues websites to see whose coming. Come on people dish!!!!
Maybe it's not that they don't want to tell, it's just because no one is going to this one! haha You don't have to say what team you're from, just say something if you're going so I won't think my gym will be the only ones there!
Dont get me wrong I love Jamfest, but this Dec comp in vegas is a hard sell especially when you have GSSA on the same weekend. And dont forget that the powerhouse "American Grand" comp (first comp on the west coast to hand out bids) is the next weekend. So personally it would be hard to sell to me and that is why we are not going. Also after attending the American Grand for over 4 years the parents would love the time off especially so close to the holiday season.
My opinion. Have fun at Jamfest though...they do put on a great event.

I wonder if this Competition will be cancelled? From the beginning, the date has been horrible timing (GSSA same day and American the following weekend). Besides Anonymous#1 and Anonymous #2 I haven't heard of anyone attending.
haha I hope we are not on the same team. I don't think it is likely. I'm from a relatively small gym in so cal . I think our coaches said they didn't register yet because they were yelling at us at practice and saying that if we don't work harder and we're not ready for vegas, then we won't go. I hope the event doesn't get cancelled, but I do wish our first competition wasn't a nationals in LAS VEGAS. I know last year was my first year competing and it was hard enough trying to get used to the competition atmosphere at our first SMALL regionals and now the first competition is a big stressful 2 days in vegas.
