Although, for all I know, Danny is the only one that can actually help me.

I have this vague memory of clicking on a thread and having the newest message on top.  Am I imaging this?  Can this be the default?

And, yes, I know I can go to the bottom and change it that way, but I'm lazy and don't want to do that everytime I open a thread.

When I log in it automatically shows me the thread that has the most recent post in it. The only thing is as of right now above the most recent thread I added a Sticky to the Anonymous Posting thread to show on top so it will alert readers that you can now post anonymously. I believe what you are asking is a message board setting and not something a moderator can control. If it is not showing like this for you , you might want to ask Danny.

Tamara,
    I don't know if I really know what I'm talking about, but under your profile go to settings.  There is a prompt for ORDER OF TOPICS.  The choices are:

    Forum Default
    Last Modified
    Views
    Started By
    Start Date
    Subject

    I don't know if this only pertains to your profile page.  Sorry I didn't completely check it out.  You could try this.

CheerMama, thanks, the threads do come up newest first, but then when I clicked on the thread the messages were oldest first.

Yea CSE Mom!!!! that's exactly what I wanted.
