While I have enjoyed the immediate pick-up of postings after allowing the poster to remain anonymous, I really miss seeing who is posting. I like getting to "know" the author.

How about everyone register, then only post anonymously when one feels the need?
It will pickup again. They don't have to register. They can create an alias and always post under the same name. Thats what I did in previous years. I always posted under the same alias even though it was anonymous. I registered under this Cheer Mama name because that is who I have now become...LOL
I don't think so. I tried it before I posted this, not that this means anything, I'm not the most savy computer user (obviously since I couldn't figure out to change the settings, I would go to "change settings" ;) ). When I tested it out, it wasn't the same as prior to mandatory registering...where you enter "your name" in a field. Now, there's just a box where you type your message.
But I was just whining anyway, I didn't really think I would change the way people choose to post.
I'll have to ask Danny. The option was there yesterday. I choses the name Anonynous when I posted so that people could see it was a possibility. Its a message board setting!!
