The Loss of Another Young Woman

This past Wednesday Genevieve Hirsch passed away while on vacation in Kona.  Gena was one of the original 10 members of Santa Rosa Elite many years ago.  I coached her for two great seasons and was always so impressed with the way she carried her self with such respect and grace.  Genevieve was attending Santa Rosa Junior College and had just turned 19 years old.  She will be greatly missed.

It is so sad to hear of these young vibrant children dying so needlessly.  I read the article and my prayers are with her family.  Having a son that just turned 20 yesterday, I can't imagine life without him.  Please let her family know we are all praying for them to get through this difficult time.

Oh my goodness, I am going to Kona the on the 25th. How horrible, such a young girl taken much too soon. Sorry to hear about your loss :(

Oh no, this is just so sad. It's quite discouraging to hear about a young girl with so much going for her and her future. Realities like this one makes you think about life and how precious it really is. I send my condolences to the family.

We are so sorry. Our family will give a special prayer for her and her family. I havent seen this much trama especially from young ladies in a very long time sigh.
