Cheersport - anyone else hear this?

I just read that Cheersport is a USASF tier 2 company this year.  This means only partial and at-large bids will be given out.

Is this going to affect any gyms decision on where to go?

Oh I think it will have a big influence on those Gyms who think they have a better chance at full paid bids definetley. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

This was posted on cheerXS...

Someone just posted this on the Illinois board;

"CHEERSPORT is pleased to announce that we will be offering 12 partially paid bids and 13 at-large bids for the 2008 Cheerleading Worlds as well as 3 partially paid and 6 at large bids for the Dance Worlds. CHEERSPORT has always been innovative in ways to better serve its customers and we decided to give partially paid bids to give more of our loyal customers an opportunity to attend Worlds. Another key factor in our deciding to give partially-paid bids is that all 12 of our bids will go directly to finals as opposed to 7 last year. The feedback we received from customers was overwhelmingly in favor of the new system. We have actually increased the amount of money we intend to spend getting our customers to Worlds but think the partially paid bids will work better for our customers. Please call us at 888-Ready-Ok and let us explain to you how our new and improved process will work for you."

This brings up another topic which is I think worlds is going if not already getting way to cluttered. To many teams will take away from the honor of going. I mean if just about everyone goes then whats the purpose? I think in time if this continues worlds will lose its luster! Sad but true! Thoughts?/
