New Cheer Gyms in the OC

Well guys, we've got news down here in the OC. 2 new gyms. Cal Elite closed it's cheer doors and 2 more have opened.

1. South County Reign
2 Pacific Athletics Cheer (?)

Yep. Things here have been stirred up. South County Reign is only 2 teams. And will stay that way. I don'tknow about Pacific. Not yet anyway.

Just wanted everyone to have the scoop before next season. You can say you were the first to know!!! I will post more when I find out!!!

In my very quick scanning, I read that there was going to be 2 OC gyms. Ha! Gotta take more time to fully read the posts.

How many gyms are in your area now? I wish gyms in our area could get more cheerleaders.

They will find out soon enough its hard to make it work when other established Gyms are around most fizzle out after 5 years and then they crossover to the bigger Gyms eventually.

True. But both are run by people who were once all together in one gym and already have followers. Reign will only have two teams. I don't know about Pacific yet.

this ought to be interesting. I know we are back tumbling with PAC (pacific all-star cheer) just because OC won't let us (we are with the enemy in the dance end). PAC will not have dance only cheer.

No, they aren't related at all and are about 30 minutes away from the OC gym. Why they chose that name is a mystery too!!!!

OC Mom are you going back to OC Allstars next year?  I know there are several kids from Orange County that drive to California Allstars also.

Well, now that you ask.... we will be going with Reign. Em wants to be with her team from last season. It was her best season yet, and she loves Sean. Sooooo, I guess this means I have to change my name too!!!!

OC Mom, isn't Reign going to be at the World ELite gym?  My son loves to tumble there and goes every week.  He says their tramps are the bomb!  Do you live in Rancho?

No- - I think you can keep "OC MOM" -- you still live in "the OC" so I think it shouldn't matter....

BESIDES: -- SC MOM (just doesn't sound right unless you graduated from USC) and I am fussy about that because I did graduate from that fine establisment also known as "University of spoiled child".

I know!  You could also come back to Motions.  Sorry, I love a good competition...what can I do to convince OCMom to drive/fly up to NCali 3-4 times a week?  Free lodging at my house...no, she'd never put up with my Winchester Mystery wanna be house.  Back to the drawing board.

So, Em's entire team is changing?

I agree, stay OCMom...you are a mom in the OC...works for me.
