What other teams are going? It sounds like it'll be a small competition because JamFest is on the same weekend. It looks like a lot of teams are going to JamFest rather than Showcase. This will be our first year going to JamFest. How's the program? Any input would be great.

Jamfest was fun...its REALLY low key...like free admision, you can video tape, stuff like that, i thought it was fun though null

They're going to American Showcase in Anaheim in March and to Athletic Championships in Palm Springs in April.  They're not splitting up, the comps are on different weekends.

Yea, Palm Springs is the weekend before American Showcase, so we'll all be at both events :]

I could be wrong (I sure have been before!) but I would guess American Championship will have more competition than Jamfest, based on last year.  It's one of the top competitions in California, many of the teams from Southern CA attend.   Like Jamz Nationals, there are usually quite a few teams in each division.  We'll see when they post the schedules, which will hopefully be soon.  My niece will be attending which means we might have to do a fun road trip to Anaheim that weekend!

I don't think it will be as big this year, from what I've heard through American Championships friends. But I'm postive JamFest will be smaller.
