Spirit Cheer World Bids

A much smaller competition was held this weekend in Florida, giving the following bids:

  • Brandon Small Coed - Partial Bid (they were at American Grand in Vegas and placed 3rd)
  • MAC Large Senior - at large (they were at American Grand in Vegas and placed 5th)
  • Florida Team Cheer  - at large

wow...
if i were on a team that went against them in vegas, and placed better then them, i would be soo mad.
i know its a different competition but it just doesn't make sense to me...and makes me kinda think this whole bid thing is almost unfair?just my opinion.

It really depends on who they took a 3rd to (i.e. good teams....Cheer Force & GA).   Just because they took 3rd doesn't mean they don't deserve a bid.  WCO just took 3rd and got a full paid bid.

Odyssey finished second.  Gymtyme was first and Twist & Shout was third.  That division (Large coed limited) was amazing.

ACEDAD,

I think they were asking for the placements from American Grand vs Spirit Cheer, not Jamfest, which were the placements you were discussing.

Here are the placements from American Grand, and yes, they were tuff competition, so 3rd and 5th place wasn't all that bad:

Small Coed

  1. CheerForce Diamondz
  2. Georgia All Stars
  3. Brandon

Small Senior

  1. Cheer Athletics
  2. Desert Storm
  3. Magic
  4. AZ
  5. MAC (no large sr listed at American Grand)

MAC Large Senior was not the same MAC. Mac is from Utah that went to Vegas and there is MAC the Orlando area.

Thanks for the clarification. Didn't realize the team at this Florida competition was not the same as in Vegas.

Oh no!!!Now I am in the "Senior"catergory too!! I don't think I can take that at my age! OC MOM, we need to get a life!
